Class Schedule & Events

Classes begin at 11:15 after meditation and tea and last for approximately 45 minutes.   See Visit/Meditation for the Sunday schedule overview. Sunday meeting location is 37 Ohio Ave.  Directions offered below.

January 2020

• January 5  Chenrezig:   On the first Sunday of each month, instead of studying we chant the Chenrezik sadhana, a prayer of compassion.  All are welcome and no special knowledge is required.  

• January 12: Presentation on the Buddhist Mantra "Om Mani Peme Hung" - presented by Sue Erlewine

• January 19:  Basics of Buddhism Series Class 5 - Buddha Nature:  What is Buddha Nature?  What are its characteristics and where does it reside?   -presented by Kathryn Cooper

• January 26:   Monthly Business Meeting. All are welcome to remain after tea to discuss the priorities of Athens KTC.
